Yeah, you boys are on to something, and I wonder if that's why the petronix didn't work well. I ve always had plug wire sequence correct, but think the rotar isn't pointing at #1 spark plug when at TDC. I would just pop the dist. cap on, make sure plugs were in right order, then started it and timed with a timing gun. So, again, how do I get TDC without having to pull off valve covers? I didn't understand exactly from previous post how to do it. Thanks again guys.
