Denny, I don't really see that any of your links are on point. I have been selling lubricants all of my life and have seen so called "tests" all my life. I don't sell Marvel Mystery oil, but I buy it because I have trouble with valves sticking and rings sticking in my old jalopies and it fixes them. Marvel Mystery Oil dissolves carbon deposits and varnish deposits. It has always been marketed as a "top oil" and it wasn't meant to be anything more. But it does a good job of what it was designed to do. They also market a good air tool lubricant. I use it in all of my inline oilers.
