schedule 40 pvc is rated to like 400 or something. I did my shop in it and it works perfect. There is no danger, once that joint is glued (properly) it is that way forever. since its a pressure line make sure that you use the purple primer. I challenge anyone to glue it, wait 5 minutes and just try to pull it apart. As long as it holds air...work good last long time. The tricky part are the pvc to air line connections.
