I looked at the Rapidair website. It's just nylon air brake hose and the common fittings you can buy at any heavy truck or trailer dealership. Synflex is the brand name that people use to refer to any nylon air brake hose. If I had to do it over again, I would probably use it simply for the ease of installation. I would however buy the tubing and all the parts from a trailer dealer and get exactly what I wanted. I buy mine from these guys. http://www.cornhusker800.com/ They also custom build trailers for me.
