Slice and dice this anyway you like, an automatic transmission like the 700-R4 is huge and heavy, way over 200 pounds.
Nothing wrong with an automatic trans, just doesn't seem fittin' to not have a tall stick shift in a truck. Maybe I've been rodeo riding too many years and have plumb lost my good sense.
