Interesting thread.
My family and I own 6 trucks. 3 of the 4 trucks that I personally own are manual. My new GMC Serria of course is an automatic. Still I prefer to drive my older trucks with the manual transmissions.
I guess it's because driving a manual makes me feel like part of the truck. The control is with me and it feels real. I get bored in the GMC and after 7 months I cannot get attached to it. Its weird, most of the time the new GMC sits there while I drive the older manual trucks!
