I got the head off, I'll try tapping the pistons with a wooden block the next time I can get out to the garage. Since I have the head off, is there anything I should do to keep it from rusting etc.? Right now I just have some mystery oil sitting in the cylinders and put some PB blaster on the block with saran wrap over it to keep stuff out of it.
3B, I was hoping to avoid really digging into this engine, so I planned on taking off the oil pan and checking everything out from the bottom once the engine is on the stand.
