Washers will NOT work as spacers. Very dangerous, plus illegal. If you must use a spacer, use one made for the purpose. No more than maybe 1/4". don't forget that the studs will have to longer, too. Personally, I don't like spacers unles they wer a factory equipped design, and then only on the rear. Seen too many problems with them (I work in the business). Best wheel I could suggest would be the '73-'87 4x4 wheel or wheels for that application in aftermarket. Colorado wheels have too much backspace, and will rub. Same goes for '88-'09 full size.
