That looks really great Jock - the offset worked out fine.

I'm not sure if I even need to put mine back in! There was nothing actually mounted to it anyway - about 2" space between the end of the 3- speed transmission and the crossmember but not even any sign of anything that was supposed to bolt there.
So it's been like that (effectively with no support!) since I've had the truck. There's not a good detail of that in the manual - I probably need to ask a question in another thread specific to the 3-speed transmission.

I know that CPP sells another cross-member so maybe that is what is needed (along with a tranny mounting bracket maybe!)

It looks like possibly this is the missing piece
