I want to tow my firetruck to big events across the east coast maybe as far as Kansas. I've got a brand new Silverado 3500 HD to tow it with. How about a trailer? I'd like to rent one but nobody around here seems to rent a trailer that will load 9640 lbs on it. Truck is also 23+ feet long. I'm not opposed to buying but I'm only planning to use it 5/6 times a year so that seems like a waste of $$$ but then again. What typr trailer to buy: Gooseneck, fifth wheel or regular type? Sizes???

Any thoughts, recommendations or experiances you'll care to share? How about sharing... Thanks.
