NM51 Shop Shark N Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 887 Albuquerque	Sounds like taking out the box and shaft and shortening it at the top and then re-splining it to mount the steering wheel is by far the best idea! How about cutting the shaft near the box and putting in a rag joint attached to a tilt column with the original steering wheel?
