no expert but I did own a 50 AD back in the early seventies that was an original one owner when I got it. It being owned by a local mayor it had been taken very good care of. Like others I do not know the color but after 37 years printing fabrics and looking at colors I would have called mine a grey.....sort of a hammered grey, which is what I intend to but on my 52panel. But heck, what do I know :p
