For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | I have done several hundred chev pickups over the last fifty years including some that were near factory new condition. I have never seen any metallic color on an AD interior, discounting some heaters. The most common color was called "taupe", which the dictionary discribes as "dark gray usually slightly tinged with brown, purple, yellow, or green". On my site you can see a 52 that the steering wheel/column paint is too light but the door panels and sunvisors are near correct. Also there is a 66 with the correct interior color that was used on many AD's when redone. Scroll down to bottom of first page and click page two to see chevy trucks. http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d41/coilover/
