Drove down to the PPG Paint yesterday. I've been troubled by the interior copper color just sprayed on my truck. Some of you have commented on the photos.
The paint guy could not reference DDL3613 but he did find a chip and description for DCC5558. It turns out that the modern paint is for a 2000 Toyota. The description reads; Grey Opal Mica. I took it out in the sun aqnd sure enough it matches taupe dark grey with a slight hint of brown that Coilover described. But there does seem to be a very slight metal flake in it. Not like what I got. Also the PPG paint guy said it takes a ton of flattner to get the high gloss out of it. So i'm going to call my paint and body guy and ask him to read the can code to me. Something got screwed up. Thanks for the verification.
