Here in Lidköping, Sweden, a few years back, a guy driving an Apache pickup was hit making a turn at fairly low speed. He had no belt on, the door came open, he fell out and was run over by his own truck. Now he's up there with his own set of wings. The simplest 2-point seatbelt would have kept him in the cab. I would never drive my kids around in my own truck without them having belts on, and so I have come also to understand why my wife isn't so happy if I go without, either. It's definitly an individual choice, but I don't feel a seatbelt is too great an infringement of my personal freedom.
