When I removed the fuel tank in my 1966 C-30, I found a letter written in 1973 by a previous owner wedged between one of the straps and the tank. It looked like a suicide note, because it started with "TO WHO IT MIGHT CONCERN". It went on to say that his wife left him, and rambled on until it was illegible.
