My '52 3100 was purchased by my grandpa in 1956. They primarlely used it as a farm truck in South Dakota. However in 1965 my dad drove the truck to a school play and on the drive back home the 216 had all it would take and threw a rod. When we pulled the truck out of hibernation (it was parked in the tree belt behind the house)in 1987 we found a piece of construction paper that was the program for the play that my dad attended that night. There were a couple of burlap seed bags with spark plugs and various unidentified parts and the bed was loaded with old tires and whole bunch of old seed bags.
