in the back of my '54 3100 was a metal trunk from the 50's with the PO's kid's name on it (it said "nothing of value-impoverished student" painted on the top) and in the trunk was the original jack, hubcaps from a '54 GMC, an extra fuel pump, random rusty tools that I cleaned up & still use, but best of all a thick envelope with EVERY receipt from this truck dating back to 1963! I've gone through it and it's a little time capsule of maintenence and repair for forty plus years. The coolest part is it was painted three times at the same shop in Oakland, the first time the paint job was $35, the second time ten years later it was $125, and the same job at the same shop twenty years later was $600! good stuff.
