Yes, there's a u-joint inside that cover. Unbolt the cover from the tranny and slide the bell back on the driveshaft. With the 2-piece driveshaft, you can also unbolt the carrier bearing from the frame mount and swing it down to effectively shorten the driveshaft in getting it loose from the tranny.
