52 Carl.......That would be one heck of a "[censored] contest" for sure.
DrDoug......Yep, those plugs did have signs of having too much gas sloshed in on them......bet the poor things could barely manage a spark being so wet. Good idea about the coil......I will have to check my records again, as I am not sure if that was replaced over this "no start when hot" period ( 2-3 years). Will do the carb rebuild first, and see if that makes most of the gremlins run away.
