Joe H......I agree.....the carb rebuild is next........and I hope 100% of the problems go away.
52 Carl......Good point about those brass floats leaking. A few weeks ago I pulled out the sending unit inside the gas tank on the 69 C10, and that brass float also had a small leak in it.....put a new one on, and now I have a working fuel gauge. Will tear into the carb, and let you know what I find. Funny.....maybe the ethanol is in fact eating solder.
