GlennsT.......OK, easy way to "double up" and test the negative ground cable. My ground cable is only a few feet long and goes straight to the ground bolt on the top of the engine. The cable ends/and ground location/bolt were thoroughly cleaned/wire brushed. But a test worth doing.
I sent a pic in the last post of the gas cap.....it has a pin hole in the middle, and still lets air in/out. If I have a full tank and park off-level, the gas will slosh up to the top and start dripping out. Plus, there is never any "hissing" sound as I remove this old-fashioned gas cap.......never any vaccuum building up inside.
