Joe H.......from you links for the Rochester Quadrajet parts, I was trying to find a parts breakdown to see if there is some type of metal flat screen imbedded in that barrel filter housing......but so far have not found the breakdown on my old Rochester. The Carb No. is 7029125, so let me know if you stumble accross a link showing the carb parts breakdown. I tried watching Youtube videos of the carb tear-down, but so far have not seen them get to that spot.

Large bulkhead on firewall (over behind the master brake cylinder)......so, you are saying its a good idea to unplug it and try cleaning the contact areas?

Good idea with the heavy wire from the S terminal for testing during the "No Warm Start" issue.

Plugs.....I do need to pull all of them, label location, shoot some pics, and also do a compression test while Im at it. Will also keep the air cleaner off while the engine is running so I can better look for gas leaks around the carb.

Keep the rusty classics going.
