Hi Riggles,
Your ujoint is readily available and fits 1/2 ton trucks from 1940 to 1954, there is a pair of bushings and a seal in the torque tube as well. Usually it is only needed to extract the bushing from the end of the torque tube and leave the inner bushing and seal in place then purchase an Oakie bushing to install to the front of the torque tube. There is an extraction tool that allows you to remove the outer bushing without disassembling the driveshaft or rear end:
