I noted to weld the dowel pin hole or fill with epoxy (liquid steel) to close it.
If you weld the hole closed, do not weld with the Okie bushing sleeve in the torque tube.
Otherwise you might not be able to remove the sleeve for repairs later on.
Closing the hole is just to help prevent oil leaks. The ball housing will cover the hole anyways.
Also you may have to use the hole to dowel pin & peen the sleeve in place, if it isn't sufficiently tight. Read # 5 attached
