Good advice. I have a small scar above my eye as evidence of what happens if you don't. blush
The deed happened back in the late '60's when I was changing out the tranny on a '54 Chevy Station Wagon. The torque tube was under tension from the springs, sprung loose, bounced off my head and rebounded back toward the u-joint.
