The thing I don't like about all these swaps / kits is that they aren't very open that I can tell. You are stuck with the algorithms that they design for emmissions and the sensors that they use without regard to the compatibility of putting them on an old stovebolt. I have bought a few books on TBI and TPI systems that cover theory and sensor types as well as where to get all this stuff (donor vehicles, supply houses, etc.) I am going to use a Motorola DSP based controller board that is commercially available and make a home brewed system for my 292. The first few minutes of running might be dicey . . . better have my stuff together!
