I think the trick to adapting fuel injections from a donor vehicle is to pick one from a car with a similar engine displacement and same number of cylinders. That way the fuel map is close and the injectors fire in the right sequence. I don't think a four cylinder fuel injection would work well on a six cylinder engine. The Buick 3.8L is 231 cid, very close to the 235.
