Spent 45 minutes at the machine shop this morning. Went over my expectations for performance and how I would be using the engine. Selected the heads and intake from my stash and decided on a cam and lifter package to fit my driving style. Shop is really busy so I’m probably 45 days out on a completion date for the long block. My pressure washer wouldn’t start yesterday morning (tried to filet the back of my right hand) so I didn’t get the empty engine bay washed. Washer is being repaired as I post this, so hopefully I can clean it before the weekend. Parts should start arriving next week. More later.
