Decided it was time to check the operation of the 700R4. Jacked up the rear end and got out the good jack stands. Blocked the front wheels. Started the engine and put the transmission in reverse. Looked at the rear wheels and they were turning backwards. Went back to neutral and let the wheels stop then put the transmission in drive. The wheels were turning frontwards. Didn't try to check up shifts or down shifts. So far my junkyard transmission is doing ok. Now for the downside, the brake pedal went to the floor. No brakes! We had pedal when Terry B and I bled them but that was several months ago. Back to the starting line on that project. Ran out of time for today. One step forward and one step back. Guess I'll take it. ðŸ›
