17.07.20 wife and son picked up truck for tonights car show since I was away. Car show was rescheduled to next Thursday due to chance of thunderstorms. They took it back Friday.
17.07.23 polished Bickle Seagrave nameplate, blackened inside letters. Wife and I installed on truck, WOW! Replaced passenger side door bumper with homemade lock clip.
17.07.30 Vintage Wheels and Wings at Canadian Warplanes Heritage, got pictures with Stearman, Harvard and LANCASTER! !!!!

17.10.22 removed tailboard, hitch and pounded out dents
17.11.04 Son and I reworked supports for tailored to remove bow and replace bolts where missing. Replaced tailboard.
17.11.11 oil and filter change partial lube job.
17.12.29 removed bolts holding running boards. Measured spacers needed for boards to fit as original.
18.01.0? Made wooden blocks using scrap oak. Too darn cold to install (-25 +).
18.01.13 rough installed blocks. Need new bolts and to drill to allow proper alignment.
18.01.27 picked up bolts - $15. Got passenger side running boards mostly done (one block needs a shave. Checked drivers side all need a little shave. Removed transmission with son, about 1.25 hrs.
18.01.30 Fellow FF (owns a tranny shop) picked up transmission for repair/rebuild, will let me know.
18.02.02 Friend dropped tranny off all done. New seals and bearings, lower bearing was very rough. Buffed gears including 3rd, which had some heavy burrs. Painted black. Maybe not be perfect but much better and will definitely be quieter according to friend. Will let me know cost in couple weeks after his vacation.
18.02.04 Son and girlfriend and I got transmission reinstalled, less parking brake seal. Need spacer to get it to sit high enough. Nearly finished the changed install of running boards - 1 bracket needs tweak on drivers side, one bolt replaced on passenger side.
Now I'm all caught up.. I'll just need to remember to update here too when I get opportunities to work on or drive Old Smokey!
