I got under my truck and took the best pics I could of the engine and its numbers. Upon further investigation I found out that I was one number off. Where I originally thought it was 3789717 was in fact 3769717. This showers that I am the proud owner of a 1959-1962 261 C.I Stovebolt! I couldn't be happier. The thing drives like a freight train.
