Don't know how you came out with your heater issues, but I wanted to ask you if you've considered using a Southwind heater? In your neck of the woods, it would make enough heat you'd be driving with the windows open. Just curious.

If yer addressing me the OP, then I'm satisfied with the GM basic heater I have. Provides enough heat and keeps windows clear after warmup. (I also turn the no-draft windows a tad to help with any fogging.)
I live in the PNW and climate is mild. Also, don't drive the truck much in the Winter months.
