I got the 12 volt heater motor in and spent a few hours putting it in its new home. It is amazing how nice the 12v motor fits inside the 6v case. I have wanted to update the Heater Resto article for some time to include clearer instruction on how to do this. It's updated for now, but there is more to do. With a 12 volt motor you will never run into wiring problems or heat issues since everything is native 12 volts nothing to go sideways. New content starts about halfway down the page.
