Now if you had only one good fender and one mangled one, you can make an FSP based on the good one, then flip that FSP inside out as a pattern for the bad side.
FYI, they aren't as "delicate" as you may think. Some of the metalmeet guys made some FSP's from a F/G car as a group build on a home-built aluminum car, mailed the FSP's around the world to participants that were coming to their yearly event, where they took the FSP out of a flat envelope, and made "their" part. They all got together at the event and put the puzzle pieces together.
