Thanks & thanks for that tip, Robert. Obviously, it will be no problem cutting the 'patch' piece corner into a radius- I may have to bust out the Dremel to get a curve/radius cut into the existing fender metal though.
My pawn shop Dremel 4K? is all I have that will cut perpendicular to the motor rotation; the rest of my tools are (right) angle grinders. I already got stitches once this year from trying to hold the angle grinder too close to my work for some finesse sanding (it was just a paper-cut). I do have a really good jigsaw that might work.
