I have just completed a bonded title on a 52 in Texas. I had to provide the following:
Bill of sale
Rubbing and picture of Vin plate
Surety bond
Letter of rejection from DMV.
If you go this route, make sure all names on the documents match exactly. The bonding company left off my middle initial and I had to get a revised bond. Bond had 1.5 x purchase price.
