Jerry - the Q-Jet is one of my favorite carbs, but it isn't idiot-proof; the idiots will adjust the airvalve to open sooner than it should!
The Carter AFB with its weighted airvalve is more idiot-proof; but the determined idiots
will grind mass (weight) from the airvalve so it opens too soon!
