So if I am understanding this correctly, the set up I purchased from Tom is the dual carter webers which the carbs are progressive part and the linkages are not progressive. So on both carbs the one bbl opens as your diving normally, then as you pour the coals to it your vacuum decreases and it allows the second bbl on both open or modulate as the engine demands for it or has a need for more air/fuel.
No. The secondaries are opened via mechanical linkage on the side of the carb. The linkage people refer to as linear or progressive is generally the main one going from your pedal to the carbs.
