Hotrod, your squirrel stew sounds great. Here in So Calif we are not allowed to shoot tree squirrels. We can hunt ground squirrels and they are good eating also. Most people don't eat them, as they consider them vermin. Alden, I think Brook trout are the best trout to eat. an 8in brookie with eggs, for breakfast is a fine meal, especially cooked on a Coleman stove on the tailgate of a pickup beside a stream.....
