Red58, I will definitely keep that in mind. Sounds like a fair deal. There are already plenty of nut trees on this wooded property -I guess that explains why there are so many squirrels around. As for dinner, I will probably at least taste roasted rabbit and grouse. But squirrel? I don't know. They remind me of rats, though I am sure that somewhere in the world, probably both are eaten regularly. The best hunting I have done so far has been taking brook trout from the stream. They are real good. I dropped a line and like five minutes later an 8" fish came in. Not huge, but a meal.
