I have been restoring antique mechanical equipment for a while and working on old stuff for 40 yrs longer.
I can honestly say I've seen damage from mice to porcupines. Chipmunks are probably the worse.
Chewed primary wire insulation, seats, body insulation, hoses, corrosion from urine and nests and seed stashes everywhere you could think of and more that you never would.
I have never seen a spark plug wire with a tooth mark on it.
Exactly what do you have living with you?
