Ditto to red's comments. I've lived on 100 very rural Tennessee acres for over 30 years, and both my wife and I are adept at giving various types of vermin a terminal dose of lead poisoning from several types of firearms at all hours of the day and night. My wife is particularly vengeful toward possums who raid the hens' nests, and being downrange of her .357 magnum is a really bad place for a varmint to be. We have NEVER had a single episode of ignition wire damage. Maybe it happens, but I don't need Google to tell me it doesn't happen here.

Good luck with your Quixotic quest!
Jerry
