If I remember correctly that chrome piece the stud fits to is riveted, or tack welded to the "surround" piece/frame. I think I actually have one from a rusted up vent window frame somewhere in the shop but its a little rusty where it fits down in the window frame track. Am I making any sense?
....I'm sure someone will be along later and that knows for sure. Maybe the moderator will move this to the paint and body??

If you have the "bracket" still on there, I think you would have to take out the glass from frame, machine a stud/modify a bolt with proper configuration and weld it on. (chrome damage) Or derivet the bracket and do the work on it and rerivet. That's if you can not find a frame or donor frame cheaply enough. The AD guys have had this problem no doubt and will know better than I. TF's are similar.
