bayoubill, welcome to the Stovebolt. You should be proud of that baby. It sure does look nice.
See ya around the garage.

thanks, y'all...

btw, I don't actually have the truck yet...

it's in Wyoming waiting for me to fly there and drive it back to Louisiana...

meantime, I'm having a local mechanic do what needs to be done to make it roadworthy for the 1500-mile trip back...

Didn't think that looked like Bayou scenery. Where at in Louisianna? I'm headed that way in February for work at Waterford nuclear station . Love the food down thatway.

Nice looking 2 ton by the way. Never made it over to Lafayette when I've been down there. Go to New Orleans and St. Francisville a lot for work. Might have to take a ride out that way when I'm down there next. Hope to eventually get my 50 GMC 450 up to towing duty. Gotta finish building house first. Good luck with the road trip. Sounds like it will be a fun one. Jim

Hey Bill, Welcome to the bolt. We have a few guys around south La., Myself (tommy) in metairie, ModelMan (Jake) in Lacomb, Marc, up around Baton Rouge. There are plenty more scattered around La., because everywhere you look you see old stovebolts on the road. I don't recall anyone having a Big Bolt though. Maybe come springtime we can all try to get together somewhere.
