Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My names Jake and I'm currently living in Ohio and searching for my first old truck, specifically pre 1954 chevy COE. I stumbled onto this site a few times and saw the incredible amount of information floating around and figured it couldn't hurt to join. I'll be doing a lot of lurking in the beginning but hopefully I'll get to know everyone and learn a lot on this forum, and hopefully find a truck that I can show off a bit too!

Welcome to the Stovebolt page, jblatt. The COE's are nice. This is the place where we practice what we preach.....Knowledge is the best resource and there is plenty of it here and lots of guys willing to share. Visit often and good luck on your search. Keep an eye on the Ebay and Craglist Forum as a couple of members are kind enough to post what they find there regularly. You just never know when one will show up. Also put a note in the Trucks Wanted Forum and someone may find you there.
See ya around the garage.

Welcome Jake, before long you will have a COE, I'm sure. And, yes, this is the place to learn about them. Good luck.

Welcome jblatt. You will find amazing amounts of wisdom and generosity here. I often feel like I hardly know enough to reciprocate! You'll see what I mean.

Welcome to a wealth of knowledge. Look up Ironcity Garage. They seem to specialize in COEs. And they are close to you in Pa.

This fellow posted in July 2013 but that doesn't mean he's still not looking in here and all around the site. wink We get a lot of folks who place their first post after "reading" in here for weeks, months, years. That's what the Welcome Centre is for.
wave

Others may be doing the same. Looking in here ... and just waiting for the right inspiration to post. laalaa
