Leo, it will be an adventure and there are bolters all the way on your trip.
Ron, you will not like it, if you't don't bring it.
And John, Vicki and I are picking up a "53" Dodge M-37 in June. She just does not know about it yet. Are you bringing the 9500?

Going to do all I can to make it with Maters Cousin! I've got some work to do on him but all parts are on hand or I know where I can get them! Sorry for the late response ... I fully intend to drive the 9500 this year. My plan is to arrive with the '53 diesel conversion GMC truck on the trailer (Grigg's #2).
An M-37??? Awesome! I heard (from 1958GMCnut) that only the manliest of men are allowed to own M-37's. You are Da MAN!

M-37? Manliest of Men can only own them? This boy will have to get it running first.
I have also heard, we have a closet M-37 owner on here some where. Remember, they were built by Dodge.

I cannot commit to the homecoming yet but still I hope to attend this year WITH my truck.
I had placed Memorial Day as my latest deadline to make my truck legal. The revised deadline is 4th of July. I will be cheating and adding the bed after it's legal. I just need to finish the body work and paint on the front fenders and assemble the front sheet metal.

It's kind of hard to find an excuse not to when you live 20 miles from the park. I'll be bringing the burb this year. Last year I didn't have it registered yet and didn't want to drive it that far. I did sneak it out to the pre-reunion barbecue at the Alderson's though.
I want to see Mike Wahl's suburban to see how good the doors I sold him at last years show look on it.

Hope to have a winch on the trailer by then also, and I don't mean Vicki. This offer goes to anyone else with a truck in progress and not too far away.

I appreciate the offer, but it'll be going under its own power. Classic Truck parts is right around the corner from the park. I've made that pilgrimage many times in the burb since I got it road legal. Last year I just didn't have plates on it yet. I was still wrapping up electrical issues.
After saying all that, I'll feel pretty stupid if something happens and I have to take you up on your offer. :-)
See you at the show.
Thanks

The management were great and a breakfast bar was cool. Good quiet place to gather behind the lodge after the days events settled down. Lawn chairs are suggested and bug spray may be a must. I'll have plenty of gentle bug repellent for every one.
Thinking about grilling something this year for lunch. Bergers/Brats and maybe some dogs. Need to find out if that would be allowed. It would be for our group/friends/family and donations would go to John and Peg.
Also will probably bring the "48" sign in Chalk board.
