Mine is a driver, but I painted every part off frame, then added a new Mar k bed and prepped the wood as on their site with black paint, and clear coat, stainless steel trim. There were 6 other chevy trucks, I thought mine held it's own, but was surprised when they announced the overall first place people's award. This is where all visitors get a vote in the overall best ride. They called my number, and I couldn't believe it... So pretty pleased that others noticed all my efforts, Trying to post pics now. Its nice to see that folks recognized your hard work. I had similar experience when I finished my 37 back in 2000. It shows it's wear after the years but it consistently takes a top ten. Enjoy your truck now, and pat yourself on the back. Others appreciate it but most of all you do. All the blood sweat and tears makes you the proudest of them all. Way to go. Best of luck going forward. | | | | Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 28 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 28 | The mar k parts are ...the wood, front panel, tailgate,s.s. strips and bolts, all cross members to support the wood to the frame. | | | | Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 28 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 28 | Thanks for the words of encouragement.
