I mean, LMC truck only sells parts for 1/2 and 3/4 tons. I don't know if there is a difference between these switches going up to a 2 ton. Thanks for your help! | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy Iron Clad, according to my parts book, 64 through 66 are the same, single speed and two speed siwtches are different from each other, and adding the washer function also changes the switch, hope that helps. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 446 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 446 | Thanks 3B. My switch is a 2 speed. I'll have to check to see about the washer function. So it sounds like I can order a 1966 wiper switch for a 3/4 ton and it will be the same for my 2 ton. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 2,986 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 2,986 | I'm sure all those components would be the same regardless of what size the truck was. I couldn't imagine why they would be different. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 446 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 446 | Well, a switch is a switch I guess, LOL....I just hope they are the same diameter. I didn't want to alter the dash hole. Also, when it comes to working with metal, no problem, but I'm an electrical dummy....

I used a '63 pick-up,(c-20),harness,for use in a '60 2-ton,and had no problems with any of the connections, including the dash. This was the last year of the curved windshield, and the wiper arms were inter-changeable,as well. Hope this helps. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 446 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 446 | Yep wetwilly that helps, thanks! I wanted to make sure before spending the $39 for the switch (not including shipping), LOL.... | | |
