I have so far got it stripped down to a rolling frame and the engine running. I have not had much time to do anything to this truck in the last two years. I have since purchased a 46 half ton that is in better shape mechanically so I have been working on it to run as a survivor. I have since thought about purchasing three more trucks and making a crew cab on my 1.5 frame, Any thoughts?

I've seen some nice handywork doing that. Whatever you decide just keep plugging away at it....you know, at least 15 minutes EVERY day. You'll get there. I'm not thinking of going stupid with it. I figure the most modern thing will be lower gears to get hyway speeds and upgrade from a 216 to a 235 and figure away to use both tanks and a ford tank selector system and maybe a booster on the brakes but more of a if Chevy built it back then style and try to keep the rest looking stock. | | |
